Lightweight

Ounces = Pounds

You take the weight of your gear very seriously as everything slowly adds up. Before you know it sacrifices are being made in the agility department. One of the design goals of the the FLUX was a weight reduction through advanced materials and innovative manufacturing technology. High performance engineering grade materials have been incorporated throughout the entire helmet and components. Many hours were spent designing components for polymers and removing all non-essential material in order to maximize weight savings.

High strength polymers are used extensively throughout the FLUX- in fact 68% of the FLUX Carbon helmet, and 96% of the FLUX Ballistic consists of some type of polymer. As you can see below, the FLUX system contains a very low amount of metal. Actually, when comparing total weight, less than 2% of either helmet consists of ferrous or non-ferrous metal. This equates to substantial weight savings making it one of the strongest, lightest-weight helmets available today.
